Debt collection for businesses

Recover an unpaid invoice with a plan that aims for payment.

We assess the claim, contact the debtor and seek payment or a workable payment schedule. Out-of-court business collection normally costs the client €0 when the debtor pays the recoverable collection costs.

€0

For the client when the debtor pays collection costs.

We seek justified, legally recoverable costs from the debtor. The limited client-fee exceptions are explained below.

Our approach

98% of our payment agreements have a joint and several surety.

In Estonia a company can be left behind with unpaid debts. We therefore aim to agree a payment schedule backed by a board member's joint and several surety wherever feasible. This can support recovery over time even when immediate payment is impossible.

The arrangement must be agreed and signed; a board member does not become personally liable merely because of their role.

How we work

An unpaid invoice should not become your daily job.

01

We check the basis of the claim.

We review invoices, contracts, payments and any objections before contacting the debtor.

02

We seek payment and recoverable costs.

A case manager contacts the debtor and negotiates payment or a realistic schedule. We pursue costs only to a justified and legally permitted extent.

03

An AI voice agent supports active follow-up.

After the manager's work, a clearly identified voice agent can monitor promises and continue regular contact, referring negotiations back to the manager.

Inforegister

A payment default appears in company background checks.

If a payment agreement is not reached, an eligible company default may be published in Inforegister within two working days after the relevant decision. Publication is a separate step subject to its own conditions, and can motivate the debtor to resolve the debt.

Price

The debtor normally pays collection costs. The client pays €0.

We first seek justified and legally recoverable costs from the debtor. The agreed business-debt rate is 6–14% of the principal, with a €40 minimum, plus VAT. The debtor's legal liability is assessed separately.

When can a client fee arise?

In our experience, non-payment of collection costs is rare. A fee of 6–10% of the original principal + VAT applies only if the debtor has paid the principal, but is then deregistered or enters bankruptcy and the collection costs remain unpaid. The same cost is not charged twice.

Client-initiated withdrawal costs 6–10% of the original principal + VAT, except when the debtor company is in liquidation or bankruptcy. A 50% + VAT success fee applies to amounts received on late-payment interest invoices.

Questions and answers

Good to know about collection.

Can I transfer a claim handled by another collection agency?

Yes, and it can be worthwhile. Check the previous agreement, your ownership of the claim and the process for ending the existing mandate. Inforegister visibility and renewed contact may help achieve payment, but no result is guaranteed.

Does submitting a claim publish a payment default?

No. Collection and publication are separate steps. If no payment agreement is reached, an eligible default may be published after the claim and publication conditions have been checked.

Can a debtor dispute the claim?

Yes. We review the objection and supporting documents before deciding the next step.

Is collection free for the client?

Normally €0 for a business debt when the debtor pays the recoverable collection costs. The limited client fee, withdrawal fee and interest-invoice success fee are explained above and in the price list.

Is recovery guaranteed?

No. The outcome depends on evidence, the debtor's ability to pay and compliance with any agreement.
